This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in academic research and would be ideal preparation for a PhD program or other graduate study. Possible projects include a range of business and policy-related topics with a focus on accounting and security analysis incorporating economic, strategic and financial fundamentals.

Job Duties:
1. Assist the Center Directors in managing research projects related to accounting policy and security analysis. Develop and Maintain computer data sets and databases and ensure data integrity. Extract and link data from different databases for analysis. Prepare detailed documentation files.
2. Assist with data analysis, interpretation, write up and dissemination of findings through the preparation of reports, journal articles, presentations, web sites, and other research outlets.
3. Assist with case-based research, including work with detailed primary documents.
4. Assist in the organization of research programs including conferences, seminars and workshops, and perform other related duties as assigned.
5. Prepare presentations for teaching and research projects.
6. Monitor the status of multiple projects and ensure that interim and final deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, business, statistics, mathematics, finance, computer science or related field required. Candidates must have an enthusiasm for research. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated quantitative, organizational as well as communications skills, and work experience in a research role, preferably in an academic environment. Additional background in accounting is a plus.
